M’OISHI is a luxurious Japanese confectionery brand in the United Arab Emirates that combines traditional Japanese authenticity and craftsmanship with modern flair to create a unique and refreshing taste experience. Their products include mochi ice cream and other Japanese confectionery that satisfy even the most demanding taste buds, using both imported and locally-sourced ingredients.
The design concept for MOISHI is inspired by Japanese traditions and reflects the colorful, authentic, and playful variety of their products. M’OISHI is a perfect example of interior restaurant design, featuring elements such as a flooring modeled after a Japanese Zen Garden, a Shoji-style back wall, and wall art murals depicting tranquil Kimono floral patterns that add depth and ambiance to the space. The tables are inspired by the wooden mallets used to make traditional rice cakes, and the ceiling light feature is designed to resemble Japanese chopsticks made of bamboo wood.
M’OISHI also incorporates Bonsai Vegetation, a traditional Japanese tree art form, as part of the shop décor. To integrate the mochi ice cream and its flavors into the design, 4SPACE created a bamboo LED lighting feature that changes colors, representing all the flavors of Japanese ice cream. The rounded lights signify the shape of mochi, and the bamboo rods use dimming light technology that changes the café’s mood every minute, creating an exceptional piece and an ideal moment. Overall, M’OISHI is an excellent example of how interior restaurant design can be incorporated into a modern commercial space to create a unique and refreshing atmosphere.
